🌍 Shipping & delivery in Europe and the UK
At VROOOMY, we believe that the joy of play knows no bounds — that’s why we deliver across Europe and the UK via our trusted partners DPD, DHL and Mainfreight. Deliveries are made on standard working days (Monday to Friday, so not at weekends or on public holidays).
⏰ Delivery times – from our toy box to your front door
If you place your order before 13:00, we’ll do our very best to dispatch it the same day. Below is an indication of when you can expect your parcel — unless traffic, weather conditions or customs throw a spanner in the works:
- Belgium: 1 working day
- Netherlands: 1 working day
- France: 2–3 working days
- Germany: 1–2 working days
- Spain: 3 working days
- Italy: 2–4 working days
- Portugal: 4 working days
- Austria: 2 working days
- Finland: 4 working days
- Sweden: 3–4 working days
- Ireland: 4–5 working days
- Denmark: 2 working days
- Bulgaria: 4 working days
- Hungary: 2–3 working days
- Croatia: 4 working days
- Slovenia: 3 working days
- Poland: 2–3 working days
- Slovakia: 3 working days
- Romania: 3 working days
- Czech Republic: 2–3 working days
🚨 Please note: these are estimated times and not guarantees. Delays may occur due to external factors such as customs clearance or issues with the carrier. Think of them as ETAs (Estimated Toy Arrivals).
📬 What if my order doesn’t arrive on time?
No stress! If your parcel takes a detour, we’ll launch an investigation. Please bear the following in mind:
- Investigations can take up to 14 working days
- No refunds or replacements will be issued whilst the investigation is ongoing
- Often, the parcel turns up whilst the investigation is still ongoing — fingers crossed!
📅 Can I choose a delivery date?
We’d love to offer a magical delivery calendar, but unfortunately you can’t choose the delivery date yourself. We’re dependent on the carrier’s schedule.
Special shipments (such as oversized items or pallet deliveries) may be sent via alternative carriers — carefully selected to ensure safe delivery.

🚨 Please note: an additional surcharge applies to large parcels or pallet shipments. These shipments incur higher transport costs, which is why an extra charge is added.
🎯 Delivery attempts – they do their best (but there are limits)
Each carrier has its own delivery approach:
DPD (<31.5 kg):
- Only 1 delivery attempt
- If delivery fails, the parcel goes to a DPD Pickup Point
- Not collected in time? Then the parcel returns to the Vrooomy warehouse
DHL (<31.5 kg):
- 2 delivery attempts
- If both attempts fail, the parcel goes to a DHL POP Point, where you can collect it within 2 days
- After that, it goes back to us (base camp)
Mainfreight (>31.5 kg):
- As soon as your shipment arrives at the depot, you’ll receive a phone call or email within 24–48 hours
- We deliver once based on the agreed appointment
- If the delivery fails, we’ll plan a second attempt together
- After that, the parcel goes back to us
🚫 Delivery restrictions – we have our limits too
Where we don’t (yet) deliver
We’d love to deliver toys to every corner of Europe, but for now we’re keeping it simple:
- We only deliver to the countries listed in the shipping table.
- We do not deliver to islands, even if they belong to a listed country.
That means: no deliveries to Corsica, Sicily, Sardinia, Mallorca, Madeira, the Canary Islands, the Azores, or other beautiful but hard-to-reach places.
Why? Shipping to islands is often very expensive and can cause delays — and we want your delivery to go smoothly and without any surprises.

✅ Easy returns – because sometimes it just doesn’t fit
😔 Not quite what you were looking for? No problem!
You have 30 days to return your item — as long as it’s unused and still in its original packaging. So don’t throw away or crush that box just yet 😄
We check all returns, so please send everything back exactly as you received it. No surprises, no glitter bombs.
📜 Your EU right to change your mind
Under EU consumer law, you have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days, no questions asked. Want to do it officially? Download the withdrawal form via:

and send it to us — no fuss.
⚠️ Assembled items cannot be returned — so check before you build
Some products (such as ride-on toys) need to be assembled at home. But once they are fully assembled, they cannot be returned — not even within 30 days — unless they arrived damaged or defective.
Disassembly often causes wear and tear or damage, and the product usually no longer fits in the original box.
🛠️ So please check all parts carefully first. Is anything missing or is there damage when unpacking? Then stop and contact us — we’ll sort it out.
🚚 “Who pays the return costs?”
Are you returning something because it wasn’t quite what you expected? Then the return costs are at your own expense.
Did your item arrive damaged or faulty? Then we’ll sort it out and cover the costs — pinky promise.

That doesn’t automatically mean the end — feel free to contact our support team. They’re known for their flexibility (and their sense of humour).
📦 Special delivery info for large shipments
Our extra-large parcels (the big, sturdy and beautiful ones) are delivered by MFR (Mainfreight) via pallet transport. Here’s how it works:
- Keep the pallet and packaging until you’re sure everything works properly.
- If a return is necessary, we can only collect it using the same pallet method.
- No pallet = no collection, so keep it handy, just to be on the safe side.
We’ve refined our delivery process over the past 5+ years, and we’re quite proud of it. And if something does go wrong: we’re here for you.

No problem — but please be aware that every return has an impact. That’s why we ask you to shop mindfully, reuse packaging where possible, and contact us if you’re unsure.
