Balance Bikes

On a balance bike, your child learns to ride without pedals: they sit on the saddle, push off with their feet and find their balance all by themselves. That makes the switch to a real bike much easier later on. At Vrooomy® you'll find balance bikes from BMW, MINI and Lamborghini, plus the Mini Balance Bike from Vrooomy® itself.

Which balance bike suits your child?

  • With 4 wheels, for toddlers: the Lamborghini Baby and the Vrooomy® Mini Balance Bike are made for children aged about 1.5 to 3. The four wheels keep them steady, even while your child is still a bit wobbly. The soft wheels also make them suitable for indoor use.
  • With 12-inch wheels, for pre-schoolers: the BMW Balance Bike 12" and the MINI Balance Bike 12" are real two-wheel balance bikes for children from about age 3. The MINI comes in black, red and blue.

What should you look for in a balance bike?

  • The seat height: your child should be able to put both feet flat on the ground while sitting on the saddle.
  • The weight: your child can lift a light balance bike by themselves and steer it more easily.
  • A kids' helmet is a good habit from the very first ride.

For the very youngest there are also push cars. Is your child ready for something new? Then take a look at the kids' scooters.
